Collection development is a great skill. Anyone can put "shit in a folder" and call it a collection. In fact, I have done a lot of that over the years. Given the right tools and a little forethought, however, a crappy folder full of items related only by the proximity of the post-it note reminders that you liked the damn thing in the first place can become a really nice and accessible collection.
