Too busy, but that is good

Posted: November 29th, 2009 @ 1:32pm

I would love if I could get up and proceed through my day with some sort of regular schedule. And I could and would if I did not also marvel at being able to meander through tasks as they organically present themselves. There has to be a happy medium. The regular habitual processing has its ups - physical tasks early, lots of coffee, primed brain for language and proramming and details, then coordinating tasks before lunch rolls around, then dredge work afterwords when the body calls "siesta!" and then stuff as you can do it as you wind into afternoon tea and evening tasks like kid-huggin, dinner, dogs, laundry.

But, the random octopus in me says, run when you feel, eat when you feel, five minute increments of each tasks in a whirlwind of rotations until tasks start completing like tin ducks at the carnival. The highest priorities will weight themselves and move off the to-do plate in their good time and everything else will self-organize like a transformer if you will it so...

Jekyl and Hyde aint got nothing on me. Since those two above also have to compete with  "no way in hell! i am off to do nothing". So, I guess I am just going to have to settle for a three headed weird-working-sister kind of arrangement. No wonder everything I do seems like it has been run through a committee....
