Hard physical labor or bum flattening computer work. Love them both. Knitting, needlework, rugpulling. Canning, sorting, storing. Looking, listening, learning. Stoping, staring, wondering.

 

So long as I can work and play at a human rhythm, I will work and play as well as I possibly can.

 

I do not wear a watch. But I can multitask with clear and fruitful outcomes like no one's business. Or, I can sit a focus on minutiae for endless tracts.

 

I have not forgotten how to stop immediately and bake cookies with my daughter for no reason. I regularly try to make something edible and give it away.

 

Now I am stopping to put the homemade pasta in the bubbles while being brained by a big balloon.
