Statistics. And the desire to kick the crap out some people
 Posted: March 26th, 2009 @ 6:32pm

Given the statistics on the number of children currently in the sex "industry", I have the great desire to smack the crap out of the pope and anyone else advocating that abortion or any form of family planning is "wrong". An economic system based on fucking a destitute four year old for the temporary economic empowerment of some other destitute shitface is better than an abortion and family planning? How many fucked over children have the major opponents of abortion and family planning and economic aid for such endeavors adopted? Again, the plan is simple. If you oppose family planning on religious grounds, you have to register as such. Then your name goes into the kid lottery every day until these little kids are no longer the commodity that they are. And, there are 100s of thousands of these children that somehow are just fine being fucked as part of your god's plan. I don't have a problem with anyone believing whatever they want to believe. But, I do believe that unless you couple that belief with some positive social activity that benefits people instead of just harangues them with your idea of morality, or stones them to death for having been raped, or shatters them by forcing them to have their rapist's baby, or pities - or ignores - them from afar while they become economic grist in the form of fucktoys for rich men from far away, your beliefs are nothing but that - useless, flapping, beliefs. Yes, I just finished reading another report on women and children in the sex trafficking industry. It makes fine reading if you really want to know how well we are doing as a species. And, people, we aint doing so hot. And we are not doing so well because the predominant social belief that is rattling around our collective brains is that more of us is some how equated with "better". What a lot of crap that is. It has been proven time and again that the end to impoverishment is tied to the ability to control population size. God may move in mysterious ways, but I doubt that the scales of God's justice tilt in favor of those who are even remotely complicit in the fucking of babies for profit.
